Three Generations, One Roof
A milestone gathering only works if everyone—from the baby to the guest of honor—is genuinely comfortable. The floor plan does the work.
Grandparents
Two levels have step-free entries: the lower bedroom level is level-in from the front entry and garage, and the main living level is level-in from the rear entrance. Ensuite queen and cal-king rooms on those levels mean no stairs between the car, the bedroom, and the dinner table.
Parents & Couples
Queen and cal-king rooms across all three levels—three with ensuite baths—so every couple gets real privacy at the end of a full family day. See all seven rooms.
Kids & Teens
Twin-XL bunk rooms plus the upper den with fold-out beds—the territory kids claim on arrival. The Pac-Man arcade and game spaces keep cousins busy while the adults linger at the table.
The Dinner Is the Venue
The moment every milestone gathering is built around is the meal—and the table seats all 19 of you at once. No splitting across a restaurant, no overflow kids’ table in another room, no closing time.
The chef’s kitchen handles a real celebration meal, and we can connect you with private chef services if cooking shouldn’t be anyone’s job that night. Toasts move to the deck for golden hour over the lake.
Kinpine House hosts celebrations, not parties—it’s your family’s home for the stay, not an event venue for an outside guest list.
The Milestones We Host
1st Birthdays
The whole family meets the newest member. Bunk rooms and the den keep cousins entertained; naps happen on a quiet level away from the party, in one of three pack-n-plays kept at the house.
Milestone Birthdays
40th, 50th, 60th, 80th — a long weekend where the guest of honor is surrounded by everyone, not seated at the head of a restaurant table.
Golden Anniversaries
50 years deserves more than a dinner reservation. Three generations under one roof, toasts on the deck, and nobody drives home after.
Retirements & Graduations
Mark the threshold with the people who watched the whole journey — and stay long enough to actually talk about it.
Family Reunions
The annual gathering with a place to actually gather: one table, one great room, one week that becomes the tradition.
Holiday Gatherings
Thanksgiving and the winter holidays with the extended family — the chef’s kitchen was built for exactly this.

Frequently Asked Questions
Where can a big family celebrate a milestone birthday or anniversary in Lake Tahoe?
Kinpine House in Incline Village hosts multigenerational celebrations year-round—from 1st birthdays to 50th wedding anniversaries. With 7 bedrooms sleeping up to 19 and a dining table that seats the whole family at once, the celebration dinner happens at home instead of a restaurant's back room. Book direct at kinpine.com.
Is Kinpine House good for grandparents or guests who want to avoid stairs?
Yes—two of the three levels have step-free entries. The lower bedroom level is level-in from the front entry and garage, and the main living level is level-in from the rear entrance, so guests can go from the car to an ensuite bedroom, and from that bedroom to the dinner table, without stairs. It isn't an ADA-certified property, so email us about specific mobility needs and we'll give you straight answers.
Is the house good for babies and young kids?
Families with kids of every age stay here—twin-XL bunk rooms, a den lounge with fold-out beds that kids claim as their own, and space to spread out so naps and late bedtimes can coexist. The house keeps three pack-n-plays and a high chair on hand, so the youngest guests are covered without hauling gear up the mountain.
Can we host a 50th wedding anniversary dinner at the house?
Yes—for your group staying at the house. The dining table seats everyone together, the chef's kitchen handles a real celebration meal, and we can connect you with private chef services on request. Note that Kinpine House is a home for your registered group of up to 19, not an event venue for a larger outside guest list.
How many people can stay for a family reunion or celebration?
Up to 19 guests across 7 bedrooms and a flex den—typically three generations under one roof. See our Lake Tahoe large group rentals page for the full sleeping arrangements.
