One of the most famous mountain biking trails in the US, also popular for hiking. High elevation with sweeping, continuous Lake Tahoe views. Moderate to difficult depending on route. Trailhead is minutes from the house.

Tahoe Meadows

High alpine meadow above Incline Village on the way to Mt. Rose. Easy summer hiking and wildflower viewing. In winter, popular for snowshoeing and cross-country skiing. Above the tree line — panoramic views.
